D1 Cannes & Carnations (80 km)

Lunch of the group in Cannes, then a tourist train tour of the town centre, and the much celebrated seafront promenade « La Croisette » with its luxury hotels. When it comes to carnations, local know how is unmatched and you can visit a Carnation Nursery to learn all about production, and taste some local specialities. Dinner and overnight.

D2 Gourmet Nice (20 km)

Guided tour of the old quarter in Nice, so Italianate in style with its pastel coloured facades and narrow alleys, and the famous flower market on the Cours Saleya. Try some “socca”, a tasty savoury pancake made with chick-pea flour, a popular local speciality. Lunch then time at leisure to enjoy the old town. A visit to the Chagall Museum, housing his 17 canvases on the Biblical theme, is optional. Visit Nice’s last surviving traditional oil mill, and sample a panoply of local produce. Dinner and overnight.

D3 Villa Rothschild Gardens & Eze Village (20 km)

Visit the famous Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild on the Cap Ferrat peninsula, whose glorious gardens surplomb the Mediterranean. Continue to the old, hilltop village of Eze and a chance to visit either the Fragonard or Galimard Perfumeries. Lunch.
