D1 Kougelhopf Cake and Alsace Wines (50 km)

Arrive in Alsace in time for lunch. Discover one of the region’s culinary specialities, “kougelhopf” cake, a sort of brioche with raisins, and traditional cake-making techniques. Commentated visit of the Molsheim wine estate, followed by a wine- tasting session. Dinner and overnight.

D2 Strasbourg Cathedral and Canals (80 km)

The sculpted facades and astrological clock draw throngs to Strasbourg’s Gothic Cathedral, a glorious monument from the Middle Ages. Sauerkraut lunch.
