* Porto and the Douro Valley

Arrival of the group for lunch in Porto. Guided tour of the city, capital of the Portuguese Baroque. Stroll in the old neighbourhoods and along the queys of Vila Nova da Gaia where  over 58 "lodges" are settled. Stop for a wine-tasting session of the famous Port wine. Dinner and lodging of the group in the Porto area.

Boat trip on the Douro River where you will admire the magnificient landscapes and vineyards of the Valley. Lunch of the group on board. Disembarkation of the group in Peso da Régua, the center of Port wine since 1756. Visit of the quintas where the wine is produced followed by a wine tasting session. Return to the hotel. Dinner and lodging of the group.

Departure of the group to Barcelos; visit of the Portuguese local crafts capital. Free time on the local outdoor market. Drive to Braga and free tour of the town where you will be admiring the Roman cathedral, the Capela dos Coimbras (chapel)... Lunch of the group. Visit of Guimaraes, the cradle of Portugal, with its Castle and the S. Miguel do Castelo's Church. Drive back the hotel in the late afternoon. Dinner. Lodging of the group.

In the morning, free time in Porto for one last walk on the riverbanks. Lunch of the group.
