D1 in the heart of Valais
Arrival in Martigny where the rivers Dranse and Rhône meet. Welcome drinks. Dinner. Accommodation.
D2 Wednesday : Martigny and Saillon, capital of Valais (80 km)

Guided visit of Martigny and its medieval castle, its Manor, its covered wooden bridge, Semblanet mill. On option, exhibition of the Gianadda Foundation. Lunch. Leave for Saillon and its vineyards and visit a winery followed by a wine tasting session. Continue on to Sallion, capital of Valais wander though the old town. Return to the hotel and prepare for the evening. New Year's Eve dinner and dance your way into the New Year. Accommodation.

D3 in Gruyères country (170 km)

Head for the country of Enhaut and its mountains and towards Gruyères. Visit of a traditional cheese dairy and sample some of the local cheese .Lunch. Continue on to Bulle. Guided tour of the Gruyere Museum and enjoy local art and traditions: local cheese dairies, farm rooms... Dinner. Accommodation.

D4 Chillon Castle and Naye Rocks (90 km)

Guided visit of Chillon Castle : fortress on the mountain side, main residence on the lake side. Continue on to Montreux and take a superb train ride to the Naye Rocks with a spectacular panoramic view of Lake Leman and the Alps. Lunch at a panoramic restaurant at more than 2000m altitude. Visit of the Marmot centre. Return by train to Montreux. Free time. Raclette dinner. Accommodation.
