D1 Châlons en Champagne (60 km)

Lunch in the charming town of Chalons en Champagne then time to browse the fairytale Christmas Market with its dozens of handicraft stalls, brimming with gift ideas and sweet treats. Dinner and overnight in the Reims region.

D2 Christmas in Reims (20 km)

Explore Reims, the grandiose Cathedral of Notre Dame where 25 Kings of France were crowned, and the St Remi Basilica (guided tour optional). The Tau Palace housed royalty during their coronations and is just a stone’s throw from the Cathedral. After lunch, time at leisure to enjoy the fabulous Christmas village in front of the Tau Palace, bustling with street entertainers, magicians and carol singers, and market stalls selling gifts. Dinner and overnight.

D3 On the Champagne Trail (50 km)

Take the Champagne Route, via Hautvilliers and the Abbey where Dom Perignon first created champagne, then Epernay and its prestigious Champagne Avenue where all the big names of Champagne have a boutique. Naturally, there’s a stop to visit a wine cellar for some sampling. Lunch.
