Day trip into the heart of the mountains of Plantaurel and discover the city of Foix. Guided visit of the town and its medieval castle, an impressive fortress with its jagged towers where you can admire a wide panoramic view of all the region. Traditional lunch then continue on to Mirepoix and its medieval walled town and visit its place de Couverts with the 14th century Maison des Consuls, its halls and its cathedral will take you back to the time of junglers and troubadours. Depart for St Félix Lauragais which has, for the last 38 years at Easter, gone back in time into the heart of tradition. The You are free for the day to enjoy the festival and wander round the stands, take part in the initiation to traditional dances or watch demonstrations of combat, fire sticks or herd movements.
