Visit the village of Vogüe with group, classed among France’s most beautiful. Dinner and evening entertainment. Overnight.
Visit a silk worm farm to learn about the transformation from humble worm to shiny silk. Next head to the Ardeche Gorges and admire the scenery sculpted by the water’s passage including the famous natural arch over the river, the Pont d’Arc. Canoe descent with group of the gorges is an optional extra. Dinner and evening entertainment. Overnight.
You will enjoy of the group's visit the spectacular Aven d'Orgnac, whose gigantic underground cave is crammed full of stalactites, stalagmites and other rock formations. Time also to visit the Prehistoric Museum. After lunch continue with a visit to the mediaeval city of Joyeuse, and its Museum dedicated to the chestnut, followed by a tasting session. Dinner and evening entertainment. Overnight.
