You know you’re in Provence when you’re in the Luberon! The emblematic countryside of the Luberon National Park boasts vineyards, olive groves, lavender fields, and hilltop villages as well as the banks of the river Sorgue, ochre coloured rocks and dramatic mountains landscapes with a group trip

D1 River Sorgue region (40 km)
L’Isle sur la Sorgue, a small town nestled between two branches of the river, famous appointment for antiquaries. Continue to Fontaine de Vaucluse which hosts one of the most powerful resurgence of the world. Visit a handmade paper mill. Optionally, down the Sorgue in a kayak.
D2 Hilltop villages of the Luberon (90 km)
First stop Oppède where we visit an olive oil mill. On to Ménerbes, listed as one of France’s loveliest, then to the hilltop village of Bonnieux. Time for lunch. We continue to Roussillon, famed for its striking red and yellow ochre cliffs. Our return route takes us via Coustellet where we visit the Lavender Museum. Dinner and overnight.
D3 Dentelles of Montmirail / Côtes du Rhône Wine Route (110 km)
Time first to admire the jagged mountain ridge of the “Dentelles de Montmirail” massif. Then we join the Wine Route, passing though the villages of Beaumes de Venise, Vacqueyras, and Gigondas, who have given their names to some of the most prestigious wines of the “côtes du Rhone » area. We stop at a wine cellar for some tasting. Lunch. Optional provençal lunch buffet in the cellar of Cairanne. We visit a nougat factory and sample the produce. The day comes to a close at Pernes les Fontaines, with its cobbled streets and, as the name suggests, some 120 fountains. Dinner and overnight.
D4 From Graden to plate
Study Tour of Roman garden of Caumont sur Durance, an exceptional set of both sides of the remains of a large pool of a Roman villa and declining 8 theme gardens with evocative names: Apollo, Jupiter, Minerva, Bacchus, Ceres , Flora … Lunch. Visit the living museum of fruits and vegetables: the gardens and interactive sensory exposure followed by a tasting of regional products. Dinner. Housing.
D5 Gordes (40 km)
We make for Gordes and tour the hilltop village whose houses huddle together in higgledy piggledy fashion around the impressive chunk of castle. Optional visit of the village of Bories or of the museum of stained-glass windows. Lunch.
