* Spain - Costa Brava, lively Lloret

Arrival of the group on the Costa Brava. Lunch, then time to explore your resort. Dinner and overnight.

In the morning we tour the creeks and cliffs of this wild rocky coastline, and its seaside resorts of Tossa, Canyet and St Feliu de Guixols. Lunch at the hotel before we head for Gerona and a guided tour of the town whose old centre ruins bear witness to its warring past. You have the choice of continuing to Figueras to visit the Dali Museum. Return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight.

We leave for Blanes and visit the Pinya de Rosa Botanical Gardens, home to more than three thousand species. A fashion show of leather clothing follows. On for some wine tasting in a "bodega", a Spanish wine cellar. Lunch at the hotel then we set off for Barcelona and a guided sightseeing tour of the city taking in the Gothic district, the Cathedral, the Generalitad Palace - seat of the Catalan government, the long pedestrian shopping avenue or "Ramblas" , and of course Gaudi's "Sagrada Familia" church, still under construction, with its spindly towers. Back to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

Breakfast then a free morning, or if you choose, a boat trip along the coast. Lunch then on to Rosas for a sightseeing tour by Tourist Train. End of our services.
