After lunch journey along the Opal coast, past the massive cliffs of Blanc-Nez and Gris-Nez, and fishing villages such as Wissant and Ambleteuse.. Filmed partly in the village of Bergues, enjoy a guided tour of the town with its belfry, ramparts and canals. Lunch featuring a menu of local specialities. On then to one time linen capital Armentieres on the banks of the Lys river, boasting a superb Flemish-Renaissance style Town Hall and fabulous belfry, listed by Unesco. Visit a waffle manufacturer and sample the goods. Dinner and overnight.
