D1 Menton

Lunch then time to discover Menton and visit the extraordinary Gardens of Serre de la Madonne, full of rare plant varieties that have adapted to the local climes. Stop at a Jam Maker’s to taste some home-made produce. Welcome drink then dinner, and overnight.

D2 Nice and the Hilltop Villages Route (90 km)

Guided Tour of Nice in group taking in the palm-tree lined Promenade des Anglais, on the seafront. Free time to explore and perhaps visit the Flower Market in the old town. Take a scenic drive through the hills in the afternoon via some of the most striking villages such as Peillon, Peille and Ste Agnes. Lunch and dinner at the residence. Evening entertainment.

D3 Roya Valley (85 km)

The Upper Valley of the Roya is a world away from the modern-day Riviera towns. Step back in time in Sospel with its old bridge, on the salt route, Breil-sur-Roya with its Baroque Church of Sancta Maria in Albis, and finally Saorge, - listed as one of France’s most beautiful, it has something of an other-worldy feel. Eze really does have an incredible location, on a rocky spur overlooking the Mediterranean. Enjoy the views, and also a visit to the Fragonard Perfumery. Lunch.
