Free time to visit Hyeres with its luxuriant vegetation, veritable "capital" of the palm tree, and St Bernard Park whose terraced gardens tumble down to the town's rooftops. Visit to Aumerade castle whose delightful museum is dedicated to the Provencal tradition of creating figurines, "santons", to decorate the nativity scene. We also get to taste the wines of the domain. In the afternoon we take a boat trip to Pourquerolles. Lunch and dinner in the holiday village with evening entertainment.
We trace a route across the Maures massif in the direction of Collobrieres, the chestnut capital of the region, where we visit a sweet factory specializing in glazed chestnuts and sample the goods. On via la Londe and the Hyeres salt marshes to Bormes-les-Mimosas where the air is filled with the heady scents of eucalyptus, cypress trees, oleanders and mimosas. Lunch and dinner at the holiday village. Evening entertainment.
