Dinner of the group at the restaurant on the port in Barcelona. Meet at 09.30 p.m. on the port ready to board the ferry to Majorca. Departure of the group at 11.00 p.m. Overnight on board in inner cabin.
Arrive of the groupe in Palma at approx 7 p.m. Check-in to our hotel in the Bay of Palma. Breakfast. A free morning to explore Palma, or take to the beach. Welcome drink
Lunch of the group at the hotel then a guided tour of the town and its famous Cathedral, the old town, the narrow streets and interior patios, and the Bellver Castle. Dinner and overnight.
Guided excursion beginning with a visit to the Royal Charterhouse at Valldemosa, most famous as the winter holiday retreat of lovers Chopin and George Sand. We continue to the private estate of La Granja. Lunch f local specialities, then a spectacularly scenic return to Palma along the winding cliff top road overlooking the azure seas, passing the stunning bay of Andratx with its pretty fishing port. Dinner of the group and overnight.
Guided excursion to the Formentor peninsula in the north. We journey across the island to the port of Alcudia where we join our boat. Cruise along this stunning green peninsula, with a beach stop to soak up some sun. Back on board we have lunch and continue our cruise. Dinner of the group and overnight.
Guided excursion, including a Paella lunch, to visit the famous Drach caves, on the eastern side of the island. First stop Porto Cristo to visit an olive-wood workshop and a leather goods shop. We continue to Manacor and visit a pearl factory, Majorca being famed for her local production. In the little fishing village of Drach we visit the wonderful underground caverns with their fabulous rock formations. Return of the group to the hotel. Cocktail farewell drink. Dinner of the group. Meet at 10 p.m. on the port in Palma to board the ferry to Barcelona. Departure at 11.30 pm. Night on board in inner cabin.
Arrive of the group in Barcelona at approx. 7 a.m. Breakfast on the port in Barcelona.
