This fantastic course takes you through some beautiful Provencal countryside, where the stunning white cliffs of the "Calanques" cliffs plunge into the azure seas at Cassis. France's second city and the race organisers have put together a "must" for cycling fans combining some breathtaking scenery with the best climbs that the region has to offer.

Arrive in Marseilles, check -in to your hotel and free time to relax, and check your equipment.
Get your race jersey from the village of Les Bosses in Luminy, just outside Marseilles. Then an afternoon of rest and relaxation : a visit to the Cassis Calanques is highly recommended.
You'll be under starters' orders at 8 o'clock, for a superb adventure under the last rays of the Provencal summer. The warm welcome of your southern hosts, the laid back atmosphere, and the glorious scenery of the Provencal hills and Mediterranean Sea combine to make for an unforgettable experience.
