* France - Auvergne, Patrimoine Artisanal et Architectural...
Conical green hilltops, spa towns and crater lakes: the spectacular volcanoes and verdant landscapes of the Auvergne were fashioned by the elements thousands of years ago. Art and history lovers will be delighted by the Romanesque architecture, whilst lively modern towns and thriving rural traditions complete the tableau of this unspoilt region in the very heart of France. Visiting the region in Coach is the best way to discover all the secrets of the Auvergne.
Dates

Head for the Auvergne Volcanoes National Park and visit Puy Mary with its unusual landscapes. On then to mediaeval Salers for lunch. In the old days, stone shelters or “burons” were built on the mountain pastures for cheese-making. Dinner and overnight.
