Santiago is one of the world's most important places of pilgrimage: discover with this coach tour the old town, a Unesco World Heritage Site, and its remarkable cathedral, not forgetting the breathtaking scenery on the coast.

Arrive in Burgos, whose slender, serrated Cathedral spires dominate the town. Check-in to the hotel. Dinner and overnight in Burgos.
Guided tour of Burgos cathedral, a gem of Spanish Gothic art and a halt on the pilgrimage route to Santiago. On to Leon. Lunch then we continue to Santiago. Dinner and overnight locally.
A day to explore Santiago, full of narrow winding streets and historic buildings, in the company of a local guide Pride of place goes to the impressive cathedral, and the famous Obradoiro façade giving onto the square of the same name, but there's also the Gelmirez Palace, the Parador of the Catholic Kings, and countless other monuments to marvel at. Lunch is taken in a restaurant during the course of the visit. Dinner and overnight.
The Rias are wide flooded river valleys forming estuaries along the coast. We set off for Padron, along the shores of the Rias stopping to admire the panoramic view from la Curota. Lunch and a visit to Toja, "island of dreams" , on to Pontevedra and its lovely old town. Mussel tasting. Dinner and overnight.
Leave for Gijon. Lunch on the way. Then on to San Sebastian, famed for its sandy shell, shaped beach, La Concha. Check-in to our hotel in the region. Dinner and overnight.
