Guided Tour of Bonn, a city steeped in some 2000 years of history : see the old rococo style town hall or « Alte Rathaus », the bronze statue of Beethoven- her most famous son - on the Münsterplatz, and the unmissable Romanic Cathedral. Visit Beethoven's birthplace then lunch. Afterwards enjoy a guided tour of Bonn University's Botanical gardens. Dinner and overnight.

Direction Bamberg, where we arrive in time for lunch. Guided tour of this Imperial and Episcopal city spread across 7 hills, a Unesco world heritage site. Dinner and overnight in the Bamberg region.

Before we leave Bamberg, we visit one of its most beautiful buildings, the baroque style old town hall which houses one of the most precious, and prestigious, collections of porcelain and ceramics, the Ludwig collection. Commentated visit, then lunch. On to Munich, for dinner and overnight in the region.

Guided tour of Munich taking in its onion domed Cathedral, the Marienplatz or main square, and the façade of the town hall. Bavarian style local lunch. Then free time to wander in the Englischer Garten, which stretches right into the centre of town and links up with the Hofgarten. Guided tour of the Hofgarten Residence then return to the hotel. Dinner in the Hofbrauhaus brewery. Overnight.

Guided tour of Nymphenburg Castle renowned for its great halls, and splendid park. Lunch. Head for Stuttgart, capital of the Bade-Wurttemberg region. Dinner and overnight in the Stuttgart region.

Visit and tour of the Automobile Museum with its new Mercedes-Benz section, in an avant-garde building. Lunch then a visit to the Kaiser brewery with a tasting session. Direction Tubingem . Guided tour of the mediaeval town centre famous for its University, founded in 1477. Dinner and overnight in the Tubingen region.

Breakfast
