D1 From Paris to Nevers (250 km)
The line of the N7 officially begins at Notre Dame de Paris, the centre of Paris. While sit on your coach, a clean city landescape attracts your eyes along the french street, till to the Porte d’Itale. Then direction to Montargis where is the former service station of mythical Relais du Miel, near Montargis,visit the Association of Friends of the Blue Road, which opens its National 7’s Museum, it covers a variety objects and memories, as well as some older type vehicles. D2 Close to Valence, Middle Gate (350 km)
Breakfast, depart for the south of France — Moulins , Roanne. This is where the Blue Route made a bucolic break, that left the N7 before Lyon to return to Valencia. Lunch at St Etienne. In the afternoon, tour the old center of Valencia. Dinner. Accommodation in Valence region .
D3 Delights of Provence (140 km)
Breakfast, then leisure time on the local colorful market of Valence (except Sunday). Road to Montelimar, stop at a nougat factory and tasting. Lunch. Continue to Orange , visit the Museum of the National 7 in Piolenc , the museum was created by passionate and nostalgic N7,an exhibition of old cars and lives of the past. D4 City of the Pope — Avignon, Aix en Provence and the Roman Frejus (260 km)
Guided tour of the old city of Avignon, which is famous of papal past, symbolized by the imposing Palace of Papes. Road to Aix, stop at Totem Célony service station, which indicated the road, it dates to the 1950s . The totem is still at place nowaday, and Total Station is known as the oldest petrol station of France . Lunch. Continued via the Fréjus then Esterel, where N7 leaves Fréjus road turns to Cannes. She passes in front of the Buddhist pagoda, it has been built for Indochinese troops during during the War of 14-18, then passes along the vast necropolis Troops Navy, where the capital Fréjus is. D5 Côte d’ Azur : from Cannes to Menton (150 km)
Crossing the famous Croisette in Cannes, then Nice and its British Promenade. The path between Nice and Menton follows two itineraries: the Grande Corniche, arranged on the initiative of Napoleon 1st, exceeds 500m altitude, offering one of the most beautiful Mediterranean Sea views. The Moyenne Corniche , built between the second world wars, passes along the beautiful fishing village of Eze, bypasses the Principality of Monaco, and gently edges down to join the Basse Corniche and Menton, the last step of this long journey of N7 , almost reaching the Italian border. D6 Greedy stage at Bistrot 7 (500 km )
Back on the motorway, a tasting stop at a calissons (a kind of french cake) factory in Aix. Lunch at Bistro ” 7 by Anne Sophie Pic .” Located on the N7, the restaurant recovers all the symbols of the road and reinterprets them in a way of humorous and baroque decoration, as well as a nice bistro cuisine!
