Free day at the racetrack to enjoy the second GP2 race, other morning races and then in the afternoon, at 3pm, the big event, the Spa Francorchamps Formula 1 Grand Prix. After the race depart for Luxembourg and check-in to your 4* hotel in the region of Luxembourg. Dinner and overnight.

Leave for Stuttgart, cradle of the European automobile industry. Free time for lunch, then a guided sightseeing taking in the city’s differing architectural styles: the mediaeval old castle, the Baroque style new castle, the Art Nouveau Market Hall and the Bauhaus style worker-housing project, the Weissenhof Estate, built for a 1920’s exhibition. Check-in to your 4* hotel in the Stuttgart region. Dinner and overnight.

Visit the Mercedes-Benz Museum. From the fabulous atrium futuristic lifts more like space capsules shuttle you to admire the 160 vehicles on display, among them Bob Burman’s “Blitzen-Benz” which broke the world speed record in 1911 in Daytona, reaching 228 km/h. You can also see the first diesel car, racing models such as the F1, DTM or the superb 722. Lunch at your leisure then a free afternoon to enjoy the parks of Stuttgart. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

This recent museum is dedicated to all things Porsche, and to a young man with an inventive streak, Ferdinand Porsche. Of the 80 cars on display admire some legendary models such as the 356, 911, the 1986 Dakar race winner 959, and Niki Lauda’s F1 Maclaren-Tag-Porsche. Free time for lunch then leave for Munich. Check-in to your 4* hotel in Munich. Dinner and overnight.

Discover the delights of the beautiful Bavarian capital on a guided tour taking in the Marienplatz main square with the fabulous New Town Hall building and its famous “Glockenspiel”, or animated clock tower, and the incredibly ornate rococo Asamkirche, the private church built by the Asam brothers. Free time for lunch then continue to Nymphenburg Palace for a guided visit. Built in 1664, it was a favourite summer residence of the Bavarian rulers and boasts an impressive banqueting hall as well as vast stately gardens. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

Guided tour of the Residence, former Royal Palace of Bavaria’s Dukes and Kings in Munich city centre, comprising some 130 resplendent rooms and 10 courtyards. The three main buildings in the complex are the Königsbau, the Alte Residenz, and the Festsaalbau representing Renaissance, Baroque, Rococo and Classic styles of architecture.

Free time for lunch then an afternoon given over to construction of another kind, the world of BMW. First visit the recently renovated BMW Museum tracing 90 years history of the world famous car manufacturer, then the brand new BMW World, a futuristic showroom-cum-conference centre exhibiting all the latest models and new designs.

Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
