Dates
Direction Sadirac for a guided tour of a totally unique organic garden entirely devoted to old varieties of fruit and vegetables: nettles, dandelions, Jerusalem artichokes, physalis and suchlike. An introduction to the smells and tastes of long ago to surprise all cookery enthusiasts! Lunch then on to the renowned Sauternes vineyards. Visit to Cazeneuve Castle with its Royal apartments and mediaeval cellars, expansive tree filled grounds and finally a sampling of some sweet Sauternes wines. Dinner and overnight.
Following the Medoc Wine Route, stop to visit the astonishing collection of rare English rosebushes nestling amidst the vines at the Loudenne Chateau. In the impressive old 19th century storehouses stop to taste the domain’s wines. Lunch.
