Dates
Lunch in the Tours region. On to Montlouis and the Chateau de la Bourdaisière kitchen garden which is home to a magnificent tomato conservatory: some 650 varieties of this wonderful fruit in all shapes and sizes which you can taste from mid-July onwards! Dinner and overnight.
Guided tour of the Mediaeval Chateau de Rivau and its legendary gardens : the Orchard of Paradise, Perfume Alley, the Garden of Magic Potions, the maze...the owner will be delighted to introduce you to this magical realm. Lunch then a chance to fine-tune your gardening know-how whether it be on planting roses, pruning, re-potting, biological cultures or other practical knowledge, in a workshop adapted to the season. To end the day there's a wine tasting session featuring Chinon wines. Dinner and overnight.
The park of the Loire's Chateau de Chaumont is the setting where some of the most talented landscape gardeners unite to create fantastic modern day gardens, carefully choosing harmony and contrast and putting the best of their imagination to work to ensure a delight for all the senses. Lunch follows.
