Lunch near Paris followed by a guided tour of the Albert Kahn Gardens and Art Gallery in Boulogne. A delightful mix of styles abound: a Japanese pavilion alongside blue Atlas cedars, French and English gardens rub shoulders with Vosges forest, the whole creating a real Garden of Eden smack bang in the centre of the city. Dinner and overnight.
Near to Versailles, enjoy a guided tour of the Yili garden, a traditional Chinese style garden where Yin, Yang, Feng and Shui each find their natural place: a haven of peace and perfect harmony. A Bonsai workshop will allow you to learn how best to nurture these miniature trees. Lunch then on to Rambouillet, via its huge forest criss-crossed by little streams, for afternoon tea and cakes. Dinner and overnight.
Close to the Eiffel Tower, we take a guided tour of the Quai Branly Museum, famous for its vegetal wall, a tapestry of hundreds of species. Other botanical delights, smooth lines, paved pathways, ponds and dappled light spaces incite relaxation and reverie. Lunch follows.
