D1 Paris Landmarks and the Seine (15 km)
Arrival in Paris and Transfer to the city centre. Lunch. Then a guided sightseeing tour taking in some of the city’s best known and loved monuments including the Champs Elysees, the Arc de Triomphe, and the Eiffel Tower. Take to the river to admire the graceful architecture of her bridges and riverside mansions. Check in in your hotel in Paris. Dinner. Overnight.
D2 Versailles Castle and Montmartre (80 km) or Disneyland Paris (45km)
Breakfast at the Hotel. Departure for Versailles Castle. Head for Versailles and a guided tour of the Château with its famous Hall of Mirrors, and the opulent Louis XIV period Royal Apartments. Back to Paris and lunch. Tourist train ride up Montmartre and the Place du Tertre. Guided tour of Montmartre with its narrow streets full of painters, and bustling village atmosphere, not forgetting the Basilica of the Sacré Coeur. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

This morning, you will visit The Louvre Museum, housing some of the greatest works of arts as the famous Mona Lisa for example. Lunch in restaurant. Departure for Gare de Lyon to take the TGV for Marseilles (price on option). Transfer to your hotel. Check in at your hotel in Marseilles. Dinner. Overnight.
D4 Marseilles and Cassis Calanques (50 km)
Departure for a Panoramic city tour of Marseilles. Founded by the Phoenicians over two millennia ago, the Mediterranean seaport of Marseilles bears many relics from a rich and varied past. From the Canebiere boulevard in the cosmopolitan city centre, climb up to the Basilica towering over the city, known affectionately to the locals as their Bonne Mere protector figure. Then, ascent to the Bonne Mere cathedral with a small train for an amazing sightseeing of the city. Lunch in restaurant. Departure for Cassis and the national parc of the Calanques from the Col de la Gineste which offer a gorgeous panorama on the Cap Canaille. Promenade in boat on the mythic cliffs. D5 Arles and Aix-en-Provence (200km)
Departure for Aix-en-Provence, city of a thousand fountains, and hometown of painter Cezanne. Admire the Renaissance buildings and visit the studio where the artist worked, then sample some of the town’s speciality sweets, or calissons. Continue to Arles, a lively Provencal town, proud of its origins, is France’s largest municipality. Above all, it is a town of the arts: it was a capital in Roman times and became a major religious centre in the Middle Ages. Return to the hotel. Dinner. Overnight.
D6 Cannes and Nice (230km)
Departure for Cannes. Take the tourist train for a tour of the town center, and the much celebrated seafront promenade La Croisette with its luxury hotels. When it comes to carnations, local know how is unmatched. Lunch in restaurant. Continuation in Nice. Tour of the old quarter in Nice, so Italianate in style with its pastel coloured facades and narrow alleys, and the famous flower market on the Cours Saleya. Check in at your hotel in Nice. Dinner. D7 Monaco (40 km)
Monaco is our destination today, where you are free to explore the lovely Exotic Garden, full of cacti and plants from faraway arid zones, before our 11.55 rendez-vous for the changing of the Guard in front of the Royal Palace. Lunch in restaurant, then a guided tour of the old town and its narrow streets. Time at leisure before returning to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
