D1 Paris Landmarks and the Seine (15 km)
Arrival in Paris and Transfer to the city centre. Lunch. Then a guided sightseeing tour taking in some of the city’s best known and loved monuments including the Champs Elysees, the Arc de Triomphe, and the Eiffel Tower. Take to the river to admire the graceful architecture of her bridges and riverside mansions. Check in to your hotel in Paris. Dinner. Overnight.
D2 Versailles Castle and Montmartre (80 km) or Disneyland Paris (45km)
Breakfast at the Hotel. Departure for Versailles Castle. Head for Versailles and a guided tour of the Château with its famous Hall of Mirrors, and the opulent Louis XIV period Royal Apartments. Back to Paris and lunch in restaurant. Tourist train ride up Montmartre and the Place du Tertre. Guided tour of Montmartre with its narrow streets full of painters, and bustling village atmosphere, not forgetting the Basilica of the Sacré Coeur. Return to the hotel. Dinner. Overnight.
Breakfast at the Hotel. Departure for Disneyland Resort Paris. This vast park of 55 ha is divided into five zones (or «lands») each one illustrating a single theme; following the spirit of the day you can stroll down Main Street USA which will plunge you into the atmosphere of a 19 C American town to the sound of ragtime or Dixieland. Lunch during the day. Return to your hotel. Dinner. Overnight.
D3 Paris – Dijon, home of the humble blackcurrant (320 km)
Breakfast at the Hotel. Departure to Dijon. Lunch. Guided tour of Dijon, ancient capitale of Burgundy’s Dukes with a rich heritage in term of Church and private hotels. Check-in to your Hotel. Dinner and Overnight.
D4 Beaune and Lyon (205 km)
Breakfast at the Hotel. On through the wine road in direction of Nuits St Georges. Visit of the cellar and the amazing press room of the Clos de Vougeot castlle, headquarter of the biggest winey association of the world: Tastevin Knights. Stop and tasting of wines on the cellar. Continue to Beaune and dicovery of the city by a guided visit of the city. At one and the same time a prestigious wine city and a city of art, Beaune, fortified from 1368, was the capital of Burgundy before Dijon, It has preserved from that era its ramparts and the bastions now house cellars, gardens, old houses and the famous Hospices: this admirable hospital has a tiled varnished roof that is renowned world-wide. Lunch. Then Continue to Lyon. On arrival, check-in to your hotel. Dinner and Overnight.
D5 Lyon (70 km)
Breakfast at the Hotel. Guided tour of Lyon, onetime capital of ancient France, or “Gaul”, nowadays an industrial and business centre which has nonetheless retained its past charms. Visit the Fourviere Hill with its Basilica, the peninsular between the Rhone and Saone rivers, and Old Lyon with its inner courtyards, shopping arcades and narrow alleyways. Lunch. Cruise along the Saone River, from Lyon’s quayside to the banks of the Barbe Island. You will then enjoy some tome at leisure in the city for shopping. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
D6 Lyon – Annecy – Geneva (190 km)
Breakfast at the Hotel. Departure to Annecy. Discovery of the city by a guided tour. Annecy, known as the «Venice of Savoie» sits majestically on the side of its lake opposite one of the best water and mountain spectacles anywhere in the French Alps. The town is constantly changing with its economic importance increasing in line with its industrialisation. Then, enjoy a cruise on the Lake of Annecy. Annecy lake, the jewel of the Alps and the Savoie region has a very seductive air about it, with summits which frame its dark blue waters. Lunch. Continue to Geneva. Guided panoramic city tour of the city. Geneva is very close to the French border, being located at the south-west end of Lake Léman, in an outstanding setting which has been carefully preserved. Check in to the hotel at the end of the day. Dinner and Overnight.
D7 Chamonix and the Ice sea (170 km)
Breakfast at the Hotel. Enjoy some time at leisure in Chamonix, the French capital of Alpinism. Lunch, Then, take the Montenvers rack railway that starts from Chamonix and, in 20 minutes and in total safety, reaches the bottom of the Mer de Glace (1,913 m), France’s largest glacier (7km long, 200 m thick). Visit the crystal gallery and its jewels. Back to the Hotel in Geneve at the end of the day. Dinner and Overnight.
