Arrival to the Marseilles Provence airport. Day under your own to visit one of numerous museum of the city created for the European capitale of the culture 2013: the MuCeM, Villa Méditerranée, Regards de Provence… Lunch under own arrangement. D3 Provencal Flavours
Departure for the small fish port of Cassis, situated between two exceptionnal natural sites, the famous massif of Calanques and the majestic Cap Canaille. Boat stroll to the mythical calanques, limestone cliff that plunge on a clear water… Road to Aubagne, visit of a traditionnal factory of Pastis followed by a tasting of the official Provencial aperitif. Lunch under own arrangement in Aubagne. Continuation by the cliff of the Sainte Baume, impressive rocky barrier that was called according to Sainte Marie-Madeleine stay at the end of her life. Visit of a honey house to discover the passionating world of bees and tasting of various varieties of honeys issued from plants of the region. Dinner. Overnight.
D4 Marseilles and OM
Guided visit of the mythical stadium of the Velodrome, from the wings to the locker romm till the pitch edges on the steps of the most famous players! Passing through the museum shop of the OM that redraws the route of this famous team, from the beggining of its achievements in French cup until its advent in Champions’ League. Lunch under own arrangement. Free time on the Old Harbour, enjoy it to spend time on the OM coffee, the unavoidable meeting point of supporters! Dinner. Overnight.
D5 Marseilles – Barcelona
Transfer to the Marseille-Provence airport and flight to Barcelona. Lunch under own arrangement. Panoramic guided tour of Barcelona: the gothical quarter, the cathedrale, the San Felip Neri, the Generalitat Palace… Dinner. Overnight.
D6 Barcelona architecture
Day under own arrangement in Barcelona modeled by renown artists. Discover, for instance, the Sagrada Familia, gigantic temple and impressive masterpiece of Gaudi, the Picasso museum, putting in light the evolution of the master and his artistical links with the Catalan city, the Guëll garden, city garden with extravagant shapes in mosaic designed by Gaudi… Enjoy the splendid view under the Catalan capitale! D7 Catalan Terroir
Departure with a local guide for the wineyard region between Barcelona and Tarragone lands. Visit and tasting of the famous “cava” effervescent wine of the region in the famous house Cordoniu. Departure for Vilafranca del Pénèdes, capitale of Alt Penedès, the most famous wineyard of Catalonia. In option, typical lunch on a Catalan farm followed by a visit of a “bodega”. The FC Barcelona stadium is the third biggest stadium in the world. It shows the passion of the Catalan people for football. Visit of locker room, tunnel, pitch.
