1th day: ARRIVAL IN MALTA
Arrival at the airport. Pick up your suitcases and meet your assistant. Transfer to your hotel. Lunch. Installation in the rooms and free afternoon – Possibility of walking in the city from the hotel. Dinner and overnight
2nd day : THE BLUE CAVE AND THE TEMPLES
Breakfast. Departure for the splendid “Blue Cave”, a huge cave plunging up to 40 m under the sea, tangled with seven successive caves. Discovery by boat – subject to favourable weather conditions (Payment of the boat on the spot obligatory – Approx. 9 € pp). Then continuation through typical fishing villages: Marsaxlokk and its colourful boats, Marsascala… Lunch. In the afternoon, discovery of the Ghar Dalam Cave, a natural cave dating back to the Stone Age with its bones of prehistoric animals that lived more than 170,000 years ago in the archipelago. Continuation with a visit to the megalithic temple complex of Hagar Qim, one of the most spectacular Neolithic sites in Malta. Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight.
3th day: THE ARCHIPEL OF GOZO
Breakfast. Departure for Marfa at the western end of the island, and boarding for a 30-minute crossing to Mgarr, Gozo’s main port. Arrival in Gozo and set course for Dwejra Bay, an impressive natural site that includes Fungus Rock, a huge cylindrical rock isolated at the entrance to the bay and an inland sea that communicates with the open sea through a natural opening. Continue to Rabat, visit its citadel and then discover “Gozo 360°”, a slide show on a large screen retracing the history of the island. Lunch. The day continues with the visit of the megalithic temples of Ggantija, classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, some of these megaliths are more than five meters long and weigh more than 50 tons. At the end of the day, a relaxing stop at Xlendi, a seaside resort full of charm. Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight.
4th day : MDINA AND THE PORTS
Breakfast. In the morning, visit of Mdina, former capital of the island, also called the City of Silence, a real architectural jewel. Continuation to Rabat and visit of the Wignacourt museum, a baroque style building, formerly residence of the college of chaplains of the Order of the Knights of Malta. In the basement of the museum is the Grotto of St. Paul: tradition has it that St. Paul resided there during his stay in Malta. The excursion will end with a stop at the San Anton Gardens, the most beautiful botanical gardens in Malta. Lunch. In the afternoon, boarding a ship and departure to discover the impressive defensive architecture of the Knights of St. John. Admire the creeks of Marsamxett Harbour and Grand Harbour, which is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful natural harbours in Europe. Return ashore and depart by coach to discover the marinas of Ta’ Xbiex and Msida, the ramparts of Valletta and the gardens of Lower Barracca . New Year’s Eve buffet dinner, evening with a live singer. Overnight.

5th : FREE MORNING – THE THREE CITIES
Breakfast. Morning free. New Year’s Eve buffet lunch at the hotel. In the afternoon, departure for a panoramic visit of the Three Cities: Vittoriosa, Cospicua and Senglea. After passing through Cospicua, you will reach Vittoriosa with its narrow ruelless, historic buildings and the first knights’ inns. Visit the Church of Saint Lawrence. From the Senglea Garden, located at the tip of the peninsula, enjoy a 360° view of the Grand Port and the impressive Fort St. Angelo. Dinner and overnight.
6th : MALTA – FLIGHT RETURN
Breakfast. Road for the visit of the capital, Valletta, a city rich in history and monuments. Discovery of the Upper Baracca Gardens, overlooking the Grand Port, the Cathedral of Saint John and the Oratory to admire the extraordinary painting of Caravaggio, the Decollation of Saint John the Baptist and finally the Palace of the Grand Masters… Lunch. Transfer to the airport. Assistance at check-in. Flight return to your region
