D2 Toulon Harbour and Embiez island (25 km)
Guided tour by boat of Toulon’s vast harbour, France’s most important naval base. Maybe you’ll spot the Charles de Gaulle, helicopter carrier and flagship of the nation. Lunch then on along the coast road via Sanary and its bay, Six Fours and its military fort, towards the port of Brusc where we embark for the isle of Embiez. We tour the island aboard a little tourist train stopping to visit the Oceanographic Museum before our return boat ride. Dinner and overnight.Group trip
D3 Isle of Bendor / Bandol Vineyards / le Castellet (50 km)
Free time to discover the port of Bandol, then crossing to Bendor island and lunch (you have the option of a bouillabaisse – Mediterranean fish soup – lunch). Explore the island at your leisure prior to the return crossing to Bandol. Next stop the mediaeval village of Castellet and a visit to a wine producing domain in the heart of a splendid olive grove, and a chance to taste some of Bandol’s fine wines, accompanied with “fougasses”, a local flat bread speciality.Group trip
